One Another

I have just got round to posting a compilation of all the "one another" verses from the Bible that must make up the core of the way that we live together under grace. I think they make for a good read, well worth pondering.

Here's a sample (just a few from a total of about 30):

DO bear one another's burdens.
Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.

DO show tolerance for one another.
Ephesians 4:2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love,

DO speak the truth to one another.
Ephesians 4:25 Therefore, laying aside falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE OF YOU WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another.

DO forgive one another.
Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

DO speak spiritual truths to one another.
Ephesians 5:19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;

DO be subject to one another.
Ephesians 5:21 and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.

DO regard one another as more important than yourselves.
Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves;

DO bear with one another.
Colossians 3:13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.

The whole lot can be found at One Another.

Enjoy!

Cool list Seymour.

One thing i'm pondering from those however.. the line between 'not judging' and 'admonishing one another' is surely a thin one..? Can they be easily distinguished? I'm not sure I know how to!

Absolutely, I think it is possible to distinguish between them quite clearly but I'll have to get back to you on that because dinner is ready!
